Display Rates of Group Components in the Book a Reservation Screen
Stay is enhanced to display the total rate of the group package rate plan which includes the following in the Book a Reservation screen:

Mandatory included components
-
Mandatory excluded components
When a group component is defined as mandatory included, the component rate is included in the total group package rate displayed in the Book a Reservation screen.
For example, consider a group rate plan configured with a base rate of $400 for 2 adults that includes the following components:

When users access the Book a Reservation screen, the total rate of the group rate plan will be displayed as $400. In the Estimated Charges section, the rate breakdown will be displayed as follows:

When a group component is marked as mandatory excluded, the total rate of the group package in the Book a Reservation screen is displayed as the sum of the base group package rate and the cost of the excluded components marked as mandatory.

When the components rates are lower than, greater than, equal to the base rate of the group, or when the component rate is $0, the rates are displayed in the Book a Reservation screen as follows:
Component Rate Lesser Than the Base Rate
When the rate of the included component added to a group package is less than the base rate, the room rate is calculated by subtracting the component rate from the base rate and displayed in the detailed rate breakdown in the Estimated Charges section of the reservation and Book a Reservation screen.

Component Rate is Equal to the Base Rate
When the rate of the included components added to a group package is equal to the base rate, the room rate becomes $0 when the component rate is subtracted from the base rate.

Component Rate is Higher Than the Base Rate
When the rate of the included components in a group package exceeds the base rate, the room rate is reduced to $0, as negative values are not permitted. When multiple components are added to a group package, their rates are subtracted from the base rate in ascending order of the component amounts.

When the base rate of a group package is set as $0, the total rate of the package will be displayed as $0 in both the Book a Reservation screen and Daily Rates screen.
When users access the Estimated Charges section of the Book a Reservation screen and the booked reservation, the detailed rate breakdown will be displayed as follows:

When users redeem a comp offer at the time of booking of a package reservation, comp is redeemed for the room rate when it is below the comp threshold.
The components defined as Optional will not be displayed in the Book a Reservation screen for the group rate plan. These components must be added to the reservation manually through the Choose Add-Ons pop-up screen (Reservation ➜ Estimated Charges ➜ Choose Add-Ons).
The mandatory components added as part of the group will not be applicable for the non-group rate plan.
